Calling all media – The details

Calling all media types who would love the opportunity to be able to shoot the action at the 2015 Driftmatsuri!

You will need public liability insurance with with indemnity of a minimum of £5,000,000.

You will need to show copies of previous work over the past 12 months.

A covering letter from the publication or organisation you are working for.

If you tick all those boxes, drop us an email to [email protected] and we will forward you the relevant application form for you to fill and send.

Applications will be dealt with direct with Anglesey Circuit and they will have the final say to whether you qualify for media accreditation.

Confirmation email sent to drivers

Those that were lucky enough to book a drive or a garage have now been sent a confirmation email to the email addresses used last night, and to those who requested details be sent to an alternative address.
Please check your spam and junk mail in case it has gone there. If you still have not received it then drop me a message on our facebook page or use the contact page on the website and i will get it forwarded to you over the next few days.

Ticket sales go live at 8pm

Ladies and gents

We have been working none stop since we broke the internet last night. The site crashed at 1959 due to the number of people refreshing waiting for the tickets to go live.

Due to the server not being able to cope with the site traffic, we have relocated the shop to a more robust and  different system.

Fear not you will still be able to use the shop tab which will direct you to the correct page, how ever you can go directly here > Drift Matsuri shop

We have installed this to save everyone hitting the F5 button or refreshing the website which caused the issue we encountered yesterday.

All tickets will be activated manually by our web developer at 8pm this evening.

Ticket sales delayed by 24 hours

Ladies and gents

Due to the popularity of tickets going on sale, every time they were published on the website it crashed.

The team behind the website worked for 90 minutes none stop to try and rectify this issue, each time the site was republished it then proceeded to crash again.

Therefore we have taken the decision to re schedule the ticket sale for 24 hours after the original deadline.

Tickets will now go on sale at 8pm on Thursday the 3rd September.

We sincerely apologies for any inconvenience caused, we tried our best to resolve the issue but feel it is in the best interest for everyone to re schedule.
