Carer tickets

This post is to clarify what will accept for free entry for carers at the Spring Drift Matsuri.

We have had to impliment a new policy due to a small minority abusing the system. Worst of all, giving our incredible staff at the gate ‘hassle’, we will not tolerate people being rude or abusive, there is no excuse!

For carers to gain free entry to the Spring Drift Matsuri, the caree must be in possesion of a ‘Nimbus access card’

Drift Matsuri will offer one free entry ticket per caree for carers subject to the following conditions:

Definitions:

Caree – The person who requires care.

Carer – The person designated as the care provider.

The caree MUST be present with the carer at time of entry to the event.

Carers must be aged 18 or above to be recognised as a carer (and receive free entry) for the event.

The carer and caree MUST be in possession of valid photo identification ( e.g. driving licence / passport / ID card) (not required for caree children under the age of 18)

The caree must be in possession of a Nimbus Access card showing the +1 symbol denoting their requirement for a carer.

Nimbus Access cards without the +1 symbol will not be considered valid for free carer entry at the event. Please note these cards are available from www.accesscard.online

PLEASE NOTE ! No other forms of evidence will be accepted e.g PIP letter, Blue Badge, Blue Peter Badge, etc etc

Gate staff reserve the right to deny free carer entry at their discretion. Their decision is final and abusive / unacceptable behaviour towards ANY member of staff will result in refusal of entry with no refund for any tickets purchased.

Thank you for understanding and we look forward to seeing you at the event

Spring Drift Matsuri announced!

We are delighted to announce we will be hosting a Spring Drift Matsuri on April 20th and 21st at the iconic Anglesey Circuit / Trac Môn  in North Wales.

This will be THE event to kick start the drift calendar in 2025.

This year supporting the event and drivers with incredible offers available for those taking part is Tire Streets UK, they have a variety of tyres for the community, from road to motorsport and everything in between!

Garage-D the one stop place for any JDM car parts is supporting the event. The main man, Julian Smith, will be present at the event, not only driving but to offer advice and information on anything relating to JDM cars.

Lucas Oil Products UK will also be supporting the event and will be the official lubricant of the event. Do not forget they have a HUGE range of other products, not just oil, so make sure you check out their full range of products via their social media channels.

As always, the event will feature 3 different track for drivers to get their teeth into

National – FAST – No more words required

Touge – THE track to go out and twin with your mates and everyone else

Hairpin – You like pulling backies? Or try to pull them off, or just having a blast!

‘Japanese vs German’ battles!

We are taking the evening entertainment to another level, featuring the best JDM and German drift cars in the UK and putting them head to head!

Cars will line up in a random tandems format, 2 rows of cars, 1 full of German cars and 1 full of Japanese finest. which ever cars line up side by side will do battle on the National track in front of YOU ! Who will judge the battles, once again, YOU the crowd!

This will be followed by the now – the now legendary  ‘Party  in the pits ‘

This event is where you forget about your troubles, everyone arrives and leaves with a smile.

Drivers please note the following;

This rule is due to the high risk of drifting and possible side impact, along with more stringent rules regarding insurance, we will implementing a new very important rule:

ALL cars must be fitted with the minimum of a 6 point bolt in roll cage with a single door bar on both sides of your car. This rule will be in place for all future Drift Matsuri events to ensure they continue in 2025 and beyond.

Full details of the event will be announced soon!
